Personalized Shower Gifts

One of my very best friends in the whole world is getting married in a few short weeks.  She lives about 7 hours away so I don't get to see her as often as I would like.  She recently had a monogram shower and I found this cute idea on Pinterest that I wanted replicate.  Here is a link to the original and here is a picture of my attempt to recreate it.

And to compliment it I took another Pinterest idea found here and modified it to match the monogrammed frame.  Incase you can't see it, I included a quote by Henry Drummond which says, " You will find as you look back upon your life that the moments when you have truly lived are the moments when you have done things in the spirit of love."  Then I included several import dates in their  life together.

Country Cottage Baby Shower

A dear friend of mine was pregnant with a sweet little girl.  She was planning to do the nursery in a country cottage theme so I tried to incorporate that into her shower as much as I possibly could.

Brunch, what a great option for a baby shower.

We decorated the table with homemade vases and paper roses.

I really enjoyed working with royal icing to make these.

Around the House Bridal Shower

Two sweet friends of mine were getting married and I wanted to throw them a shower with a cute theme.  I decided to do an "Around the House" shower.  The invitations were so adorable (and of course I don't have a picture of one).  Each person invited was assigned a room to buy for.  They were also encouraged to bring a note of encouragement, a piece of advice, and a prayer for that specific room.  There was a great turnout and I think everyone had a great time.
